haruni shawl

so far this has been a great pattern, and the end result is going to look amazing. i've never seen a shawl with such a pretty and unconventional border-- the bottom fans out and large petals appear, making a wavy border instead of creating a perfect triangle. it's almost as if the shawl changes time signature right before the end. cannot believe i've let this thing sit on the shelf for so long before finishing. already planning another one in a burnt sunset color with a true laceweight yarn. i'm really interested in seeing how it changes the distinct angles that i'm seeing towards the bottom. i can't wait for you to see what the finished product looks like.
