We went to sushi unlimited, which is the new sushi place a block away that took the place of Mirai, which was a phenomenal sushi place with the sweetest little waitress named Mary. The new place is a sports bar/sushi restaurant and it.. i don’t know. The sushi seemed fresh and f high quality, even though we got bento boxes for lunch and the only sushi i had was tuna sashimi, but it’s hard to justify it when it’s pretty overpriced. Then again, there’s not inherently a lot in a lunch bento that is meant to impress or overjoy. Anyway, they had some pretty interesting rolls that i’ll have to try, so i’ll withhold the Judging Party until i get some more info. As it stands now, i’m waiting to be impressed, especially with how much they charge for certain things.
Also, read this really great interview with presidential candidate John Edwards’ wife, Elizabeth Edwards. I’ve been slowly getting into politics here, but it’s proving a little difficult considering I have only very vague, loose ideas on how the government works down here, exactly. Anyway, I realize that this is a campaigning interview with a supportive, like-minded interviewer, but it was still really interesting and engaging.
