print o the wave stole

this pattern, eunny jang's Print O' The Wave stole has been in my Ravelry queue for a year or so, just like everyone else who has seen it. at first i wasn't a huge fan of the little zig-zag lace that goes on in between the little 'waves' of lace, but now that it's completed it does frame the other lace well. overall i'm happy with how everything turned out save for the borders, which i really messed up on for some inexplicable reason. i used madelinetosh yarn in turquoise that i splurged on using a birthday gift card from my girl Dee. the colors are a LOT brighter -especially in the sun- than the photos suggest. just couldn't get a good, sunny day to take pictures, and our new place is awful for getting any natural/direct sunlight. imagine something brighter, greener, fresher-looking, with these little flecks of a true turquoise color.
