it has taken two damn weeks and i'm probably not even halfway done. it'll look nice when it's finished, but i can't help but feel like i'm being held against my will when i knit this. it's wider than the first one (who is finding its home this week) by a good couple of inches, and is thicker and altogether more substantial than the wispy seafoam scarf. i haven't decided if that's a good thing or not... but i'm just hoping it's going to soften up a whole lot when i block. because otherwise i don't know who would want steel wool brushing up against their neck.
